"I'm not concerned with your liking or disliking me. All I ask is that you respect me as a human being.” - Jackie Robinson

I am sure all of us want to be treated with respect from the people around us. And to gain respect from others, all we have to do is respect them first because after all, it takes two hands to clap. And you have no one else to blame but yourself if others choose not to respect you anymore. As the saying goes, what comes around comes around.

I don't spend close to 5 years studying early childhood education and a bomb on my education just so that you can step on my head and treat me like your maid, or worse, your slave. This thing about parents treating teachers as though we owe them a living has got to stop, seriously. I've worked in many centres before and this centre has got the worst breed of parents ever! Like seriously, calling the teachers stupid? Shouting at them in front of other children? Never appreciating a single thing the teachers have done?

Well, you can complain to all the authorities you want. You can swear you will not let the teachers hold down a single job ever. But you're not God. The power isn't in your hands. Just let me warn you that life is a cycle. You may be oh so mighty now but trust me, you will get a taste of your own medicine someday.

On a sidenote, if I ever see that bitch on the street someday, don't blame me if I give her a good slap. Well, that would be on behalf of all the teachers in that centre. Thank you
