It really irks me when I read in the papers that many of the "adults" who have been in the workforce for years are planning to switch to become early childhood educators.

Don't tell me you have a sudden interest in children at the age of 30+ or maybe even 40? Truth is, you become interested just because the respective organizations are offering higher salary now than in the past.

Oh, and another interesting point to note was they were even willing to sacrifice a 40% pay cut. Stop all the bullshit and just admit that you got fired from your last job because the economy isn't doing so well and the education field is the most stable of all.

And yeah, don't tell me that I am too young to teach. Cos at least I started from the bottom.
