2nd May 2008 marks the third year of our friendship/relationship or whatever you call it. Since I planned last year's anniversary, it was Yusri's turn to plan this year. Well, of course he did not keep it as a surprise because he never keep secrets from me! haha.
To start the day off, we had a good early breakfast buffet at Delifrance. The food was okay only. Nothing great, just pastries and stuff. But it was quite filling cos we did not have any lunch later on. Afterwhich, we headed to a place where he actually came from. Drum roll please... It's the zoo!! haha. Ok ok, kidding babe! He took the 50% off voucher from his uncle so we saved quite a sum. It's been sometime since I last went to the zoo you see. And on that very day, we wish to celebrate it with the monkeys, chimpanzees, giraffes, leapords etc etc. haha.
Ok, I'll show you the pictures.
While we were waiting for the bus. Surprisingly, the bus came rather fast even though we had just missed the previous one.

We walked and walked further and guess who did we bump into?
Our long lost friends! (see below) hahaha
And then, Yus saw a truck and off he went to have pretend play. hehehee
The weather was really warm. But I like it better that way because we still had lots in store. haha.
Moving on, we left the zoo at about 1+ and the next stop was Marina Square. There, we caught Harold&Kumar and we really had a good laugh. That movie's pretty good! Be sure to catch it. I find Harold quite cute though. hahaha. Very anti climax I know. hehe
After the movie, it was time to fly. Yeah babe, we went to the Singapore Flyer! Ok, that place is actually only so-so to me. Kind of wasted that we splurged 60 bucks on it! But oh well, it's like once in a lifetime kindda thing. And fyi, Yus is afraid of heights but he went through all odds just for me! That's why I love you... haha

We went up at about 5pm so it wasn't that hot. And the view? Ok, see for yourself.
My very nice bf is currently saving up to buy me the house on the bottom right of the above picture. ahahaha. Yeah, in a million years!
After that, it was time for the grand finale. That is, our dinner! Remember, our last meal was at what? 9am? So by about 6.30pm, we were damn hungry! And we rushed down to Straits Kitchen for our buffet dinner.
We were one of the first few to arrive actually. But after about an hour, we were so full that Yus thought he could not even get up. So the moral of the story is, better not starve or you won't be able to eat much. Just like when you fast yeah?
And finally, the day has ended and it was time to go home. I had the greatest time ever with Yusri and I am very happy that all his efforts of saving up was worth it. Thanks for everything hun! You're the best!
And here's to many many more years of laugh, tears, joy, sorrow, anger,fights and what else? I'm sure you know this but I love you babe no matter if you're fat or thin. hehe
