I can't quite sleep at the moment although I felt a little sleepy earlier on. Hah.. That's always the case anyway. Anyway, I just felt like sharing this little something which got me really, mad I suppose?
If anyone had noticed, there was this very sensitive comment made by this particular girl who used to be my classmate back in sec school. Well in her comment space, she said, "I hate ADHD kids."
ADHD basically means Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Some of the symptoms may include inattention, hyperactivity and impulsiveness. So yeah, you basically get the idea of ADHD.
I got really pissed by that stupid comment of hers because haven't she wondered that these kids never asked to be born with ADHD? Doesn't she know that ADHD is hereditary in most cases? You may say that food additives and sugar is the main suspect but hell no! ADHD often runs in the family!
Don't you have a brain miss? Why don't you go do some little research before you broadcast to everyone that you hate these kids? Yeah, you may be an A level graduate but so what? Does that give you the right to hate this innocent kids? Don't you realize that one day you might have a child of your own? What if the child turns out to be ADHD positive? You mean you're gonna hate that child and throw him/her into the dustbin?
Sometimes people can be so ignorant of the little stuff that they say. I wonder how would her friends or family members feel when they see that comment of hers, knowing that they themselves or someone close to their hearts are ADHD.
I'm not trying to act smart or what here but I have met children with ADHD. And I must say that they are really very adorable. Yes, they love to run about. They can never sit down when you're teaching them. But it's just a matter of knowing and understanding their needs.
They are special people who needs special attention from people like us. It is already hard for their parents to handle them so why make it harder by throwing such comments?
Thankfully, she has removed those harsh words. It was there for a couple of days and I have a feeling that someone had knocked some sense into her. Thank god for that. Or else, I would really have confronted her. I really feel that these kids deserve to be love and not hate by us. They are just kids. And I really adore them. (:
& on some lighter stuff, I finally got out of my comfort zone (ie:Woodlands, Sembawang & Yishun) and went to Tampines last weekend! Haha. We dined in at this Family Buffet Restaurant or something. It was okayy. But the sushi's really good. There were a variety. And of course my bf would engulf on the salmon sashimi. Hahaha.

I just love this photo. He looks ______. Ahahaha.
Btw, pic was taken at the restaurant. And I think he is just pretending to read. :p
Kk, time to sleep now. Good night cuppycakes! hehehe
